*Answers!
1.ABSOLUTELY!
2.ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Style and fashion are NOT about spending alot. My perfect philosophy is to search for the bargains and buy what I love. Although, when shopping, there are some things that are an investment,I want you(my loyal reader) to know what spend and what to save on.
When it comes to our list of basics, most of them can be purchased at very reasonable prices.(heels:hotfash.com)
Spend on:
1.That black cocktail dress: Buy something basic but flattering. Dresses tend to cost more than seperates so don't be afraid to buy the perfect one that may cost a little more.
2.Those hot heals: Don't be afriad to break the bank(at least a little) when you're buying your heals. They're versatile, so you'll use them constantly, they'll be worth the extra cash!
3.Those killer jeans: Jeans are probably the most important thing on the basics list. Jeans are an everyday staple that can make a huge statment. Search for YOUR perfect fit and wash.(It would even be smart to buy the same jeans in different washes)Jeans are probably going to be the costliest basic but they'll be well worth it in the long run!
Save on:
1.Your pearls and diamond studs: I am a major fan of accesories (and most of mine have been purchased from my favorite store forever 21, the perfect place for basics) There is no need for your pearls or your diamonds to be genuine, no one will know the difference!
2.That denim jacket: Denim is the most common fabric so it doesn't tend to cost much(when buying jeans, you're not paying for the fabric, rather the fit)I found my jacket for a mere five dollars!
3.That pencil skirt: You don't need detail. Plain and simple will be the perfect fit for some wild top. Search the sale racks for this one ladies!

So, we've covered the bases of our basics.Next time we'll discuss and explore the sparkly, sassy, pretty world of the extras that spice every drab out* to fab out*!
(*short for outfit)Now that you know where and how to spend and save, get to it!
